DBasia.news –  Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk was extra cautious ahead of the match against city club Everton. Liverpool will go to Everton headquarters, Goodison Park Stadium on Sunday (3/3).

Liverpool need full points to keep their distance from Manchester City, who finished second. At present, both clubs are one point away.

The opportunity for Liverpool to win is quite large because they will meet Everton. Because Everton lost three times in the last four games.

Even so, Virgil van Dijk doesn’t want Liverpool to laugh. Moreover, the Everton counter match will be a derby status.

“I think their negative record will not change anything regarding this match. Their approach to this match will be very different from what has been done so far. So we have to be vigilant,” Van Dijk said.

“Everton get good results on Tuesday night. Therefore, they are getting better ahead of this match,” he continued.

“However, the match will be very different from the other matches and I can’t wait to play. We have to look at the game later with confidence and see what will happen,” said Van Dijk.

This is the 200th meeting between Everton against Liverpool in the Premier League.
