Liverpool Joins in on Hunting for Fiorentina’s Winger

Alberto Moreno

DBasia.news –  Liverpool will only add players to slightly improve the quality of the team that has been strong this summer. One area that needs to be strengthened is the front line left by Daniel Sturridge.

The England striker left Liverpool with Alberto Moreno as his contract had expired – and was not renewed. The Reds, according to Express, are eyeing the young Fiorentina winger, Federico Chiesa.

Liverpool tried to peek at the opportunity to recruit the son of Enrico Chiesa. But, the chance to get him was not easy as Chiesa was also targeted by Juventus and Inter Milan. His worth is around 60 million euros.

At present, Chiesa has played 37 times out of 38 Fiorentina matches in Serie A, he is only focused on defending the Italian national team to play the Euro 2020 Qualification.

“The interest of certain clubs makes me happy. But now I’m at Coverciano (Italian training camp) and available for (Roberto, Italy national team coach) Mancini,” Chiesa said some time ago.

“I focus on that and also follow what is happening at Fiorentina, as well as negotiations between Della Valle (Former Supremo Fiorentina) and Commisso (New Owner of Fiorentina).”

“How do I deal with these offers? My cellphone is set in airplane mode. So far I have not spoken to anyone at the club. Announcements that have been reported. I repeat, I have yet to speak to anyone at the club,” Chiesa said.
