Liverpool legend Praises Sadio Mane

DBasia.news –  Not many people predicted that Sadio Mane could succeed immediately at Liverpool when he came to Anfield in 2016. The reason was Mane came from a mid-table club: Southampton.

However, the facts on the ground has said differently. Mane, precisely succeeded in being Klopp’s mainstay in the matter of breaking down the opponent’s defense. In 2018/19 last season alone, his sharpness increased, after the Senegalese player managed to collect 22 goals in the Premier League.

The Reds legend, Jamie Carragher also states that Mane is the best left-wing striker Liverpool has ever had, after John Barnes (a player who had strengthened the Reds in mid-1987-1997).

“Mane is a Liverpool winger who has high quality, since John Barnes (Mane) has been the best left winger for almost 30 years,” stated Carragher as quoted by Goal.

Currently, Mane is struggling to return to help Klopp’s squad in winning three points in the continuing Premier League match against Arsenal.
