Liverpool Needs a Productive Midfielder

DBasia.news –  Former Liverpool striker, Dean Saunders, advised the Reds to look for a productive midfielder in the transfer market this summer. One name that became an option was Christian Eriksen.

Eriksen joined Tottenham in the summer of 2013. He immediately became one of the best players in the Premier League. Last season, he contributed 10 goals and 17 assists from 51 appearances.

“Liverpool can spend money on a good midfielder. I think Eriksen can enter the Liverpool team; someone like Eriksen, “Saunders said.

“Players like that will make their midfield a little more productive,” Saunders added.

Last season, Liverpool’s midfield was less sharp. The midfielder with the most scores is James Milner (seven). Other midfielders such as Georginio Wijnaldum created five goals, Naby Keïta (three) and Jordan Henderson (one).
