DBasia.news – The consistent and great performance of Liverpool left-back, Andrew “Andy” Robertson rewarded him the contract renewal from Liverpool. He was signed until 2024.
Signed from Liverpool from Hull City in 2017/2018, the Scottish player is the main choice for the left-back. Robertson is the next player who signed the new contract in Liverpool this season after The Reds stars like Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, and Joe Gomez.
As the full-back, Robertson played accurately and created six assists from 26 caps so far. He is also the vital part of Liverpool defense who just got conceded 10 times in the Premier League.
Despite the unclear contract duration just like other Liverpool players, there’s no release clause in his contract.
“As soon as the club came to me, it was a no-brainer for me – I want to stay here, so as soon as they put an offer on the table it was signed as quickly as that,” he told the club’s official website.
“It was a pretty easy contract for me and I’m sure for the club as well. We both agreed very quickly, that’s why it’s been done so quickly.”
