DBasia.news – PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) desire to recruit Roberto Firmino from Liverpool ‘unrequited’. Because the Reds are not willing to sell the flagship player.
Roberto Firmino is an important part on the Liverpool front line with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah. The Brazilian national team player has packed 66 goals plus 47 assists in 191 appearances in various events.
This impressive performance made PSG interested in bringing Firmino. Les Parisiens considers the 27-year-old a perfect substitute for Edinson Cavani, who is entering his old age.
However, PSG threatened with finger bite because Liverpool were not at all interested in selling Roberto Firmino. According to BBC, the Reds will not sell the player at any price.
Besides not going to sell important players, Liverpool will not move too much in the transfer market. Jurgen Klopp predicts the Reds will not spend more money than last season.
“There’s no need to increase spending. I don’t want to talk exactly about what money we will do, but I don’t think we will spend a lot of money or anything,” Klopp said as reported by the Express.
“The best way to do this is to unite the players, try to develop them and then stay together for a while. That may be Liverpool’s main problem for the past decade,” Klopp said.
“When you have a good team, you don’t need to go all over the world. That won’t happen this year,” said the manager.
Liverpool brought several players such as Alisson, Xherdan Shaqiri to Fabinho in the 2018 summer transfer market. At that time, the Reds spent more than 150 million pounds.
