DBasia.news – Liverpool performed perfectly this season. The victory against one of the candidates of Champions League this season, Paris Saint-Germain with a 3-2 score on last Tuesday, signaled that Jurgen Klopp squad always achieved three points in the recent 6 matches of all competitions.

Statistically, the team got it in 1990. The impressive performance of Liverpool this season raised the optimism. Also for the center-back, Virgil Van Dijk. He even said that the team will win all the titles this season.

“If you are going to be on the pitch and you don’t believe it then you’d better stay home,” Van Dijk said.

“You need to have belief, you need to have belief in everyone in your team and I have all the belief that’s there in this team.

Klopp always said to his squad to maintain the consistency and tried hard to pass the obstacles. The glasses coach warned Van Dijk and friends to not feel satisfied easily.

“If you look at the team we have, if you look at the whole squad, players who are not even in the squad who have so much potential and so much quality, it says a lot about our team. We know the season is very long, we have four competitions to play in. We want to win everything, that is basically our mindset,” Van Dijk revealed.

The next match for Liverpool would be very special for Van Dijk. The player will play against his former team, Southampton. As we know, Liverpool signed the Dutch player worth  ‎£75M in January 2018.

But the adaptation process was smooth. He even became one of the players contributing in bringing Liverpool to the final round of 2018 Champions League. ”

“I want to win things, I want to create memories here and write history as well with all these boys. I think everyone already had that feeling. We were not in the final last year for no reason; I think we should already get that respect for what we did. But obviously this season is new, everyone starts over, every game,” Van Dijk said.
