Lorenzo Pellegrini Talks About His Role As Trequartista

Pellegrini, initially a center midfielder, admits that he is enjoying the role as a trequartista.

“I have room to play and have fun, I have less tactical thoughts than the mezzala.”

“I am enthusiastic about this new role. Right now I like to play there because I see the team spin well,” Pellegrini said.

However, Pellegrini admits that Javier Pastore has a better technique compared to him when playing as a trequartista.

But he insists that there is healthy competition among the players in achieving the starter position.

“We all get along well and more passing solutions are given,” Pellegrini revealed.
