DBasia.news – Inter Milan failed to win at Atalanta in the Serie A match at Giuseppe Meazza, Sunday (8/4) evening WIB. In addition, Luciano Spalletti, Inter coach, highlighted Mauro Icardi’s performance.
Inter Milan play 0-0 against Atalanta. The hosts created several chances from Mauro Icardi’s action, but no goal was created.
In the previous match against Genoa, Mauro Icardi made a nice comeback. The ex Sampdoria has one goal plus one assist.
Indeed, Spalletti didn’t really want to talk much regarding Icardi’s performance. Moreover, in the last month Icardi is the Inter player who has gotten the most attention.
“I’ve talked too much about Mauro Icardi. Like everyone, I want to talk about Inter Milan,” Spalletti said as quoted by Soccerway.
“Icardi must do well, come back and join the midfielder as he did today. He ran for the team as all attackers did,” said Spalletti.
“I’m more focused on performance than results. I’m relaxed if the team plays good football, so I don’t just want to score goals to get the job done. The team plays well today so I’m happy.”
One additional point did not make Inter Milan move from third position. Meanwhile, Atalanta shifted AC Milan in fourth place.
