Luciano Spalletti Not Panicing Regarding Rumors of Antonio Conte’s Arrival

DBasia.news –  The 2-1 victory over Empoli in the final match of Serie A, Monday (5/27) WIB, was enough for Inter Milan to end the season in the Champions League zone. However, Luciano Spalletti is still rumored to be replaced with Antonio Conte.

Spalletti remained calm judging the situation at Inter. The 60-year-old coach is proud of his foster children’s play in the match and believes that Conte’s rumors have already been discussed for some time by the media crew.

“I was not surprised anymore, we played the game well. There was so much tension and pressure before the game was played. “I was sad for Empoli, I have ties and friends there. They certainly deserve to stay, but we also deserve to reach the (Champions) Champions League. When decisions are made, all of them react in their own way.”

“Problems come when the situation depends on you, not when you face them. I don’t know if I will leave Inter. Conte is also questioned (rumored) after Juve’s match against Ajax (in the Champions League),” he explained.

Spalletti realized everything could happen quickly in the world of football. He gave an example of the Juventus case, when Andrea Agnelli expressed no change and Massimiliano Allegri stayed, however, afterwards Allegri was confirmed to leave.

“But (Andrea, Juve’s President) Agnelli said at a press conference that later he would not touch anything and then make changes,” Spalletti added.

“For me, you can learn from that attitude. But, I am in a perfect role where I want and I behave the way I want. I am calm,” he concluded.
