DBasia.news – A surprise happened in the second matchday of Champions League, CSKA Moscow defeated the defending champion Real Madrid 1-0.
Nikola Vlasic’s goal at 2′ buried Madrid’s dream at Luzhniki Stadium, Wednesday (3/10).
The defeat was a big hit for Real Madrid who are in the difficulty of reaching the victory. No wonder many people say that Madrid are in crisis.
This is the first time since 2007 Madrid failed to score the goal for three consecutive times in all competitions. The pressure is getting stronger on the coach Julen Lopetegui.
Luka Modric denied that Real Madrid are in crisis. He insisted that Madrid will gain the positive result.
“It’s not a crisis but we haven’t been performing the way we should,” said Modric.
“No doubt, we’ll get back to winning ways. As for tonight, CSKA showed they are very well organized and have really good players.”
Madrid played draw 0-0 against the rival Atletico in the recent LaLiga match and got defeated 0-3 against Sevilla.
