DBasia.news – Manchester United have passed 17 matches under the care of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in all competitions. During that time, Man United only lost once, and the latest victory was dramatically achieved at PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) headquarters in the second leg of the last 16 Champions League.
The Red Devils successfully surpassed Paris Saint-Germain with a score of 3-1 at the Parc des Princes in the second leg of the last 16, while making them qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals after winning an away goal with a 3-3 aggregate.
Man United’s victory hero, Romelu Lukaku also spoke up about the manager’s future speculation. The Belgian national team striker believes that Solskjaer will remain the manager of the Red Devils after the season ends.
“I know he (Solskjaer) will survive, there is no doubt about that. He wants to survive, the players want to survive, and do so with him, we play as how Manchester United should play,” Lukaku told the Manchester Evening News.
“He is a young manager, and the team is full of young players, so the atmosphere is perfect for him to win the trophy in the future,” he concluded.
Lukaku himself became one of the figures who experienced the most significant performance improvement with Solskjaer. Not to mention that the former Everton player has scored six goals in his last three games, including two goals against PSG.
