Luke Shaw disappointed that only Manchester United were criticized

DBasia.news –  Luke Shaw was surprised that only Manchester United received criticism, while Arsenal did not.

The inconsistency of Man United and Arsenal has continued since the two teams were left behind by legendary manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, and Arsene Wenger. This season too. Arsenal and Man United found it difficult to fight for the European zone.

Arsenal have even replaced their manager from Unai Emery, Freddie Ljungberg (interim manager), until now handled by Mikel Arteta. Man United also had diffuclty playing consistently in the full season while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer handles the team.

Seeing that note, Shaw wondered why Man United is the only one receiving the spotlight and sharp criticism from the public. As the Gunners also did not perform well this season.

“I have to have thick skin (ignorant). Sometimes it’s easy for people to forget what I actually experienced,” Luke Shaw told Mirror.

“You have to have thick skin to play football anywhere, but especially in the biggest club in the world here at United. Everyone is watching and wants to comment whenever you lose.”

“They are just waiting to criticize when things go wrong but that is part of playing for United,” he continued.

“There is no disrespect to Arsenal which is a fantastic club, but they don’t really have a great season and it’s almost not mentioned. I find it funny that if it was United, everyone criticizes, but Arsenal don’t get the attention. “

Luke Shaw knows his team has not performed well and inconsistent this season. However, the 24-year-old player is optimistic that his team is on the right path to return to being the team that will fight for the title.

“Look, we know when we haven’t been (performed) well enough and sometimes we haven’t done it. We all know why we are here,” Shaw added.

“We are here to bring the club back to its original place – win the trophy and challenge for the title. And I am absolutely sure we are heading in that direction.”

“We know when we are not in our best form and we know when we play well and what we can achieve – but we must defend it, which is why I believe there are many good days to come,” he explained.
