DBasia.news –  Real Madrid were beaten 3-0 by Atletico Madrid in the International Champions Cup which took place at MetLife Stadium on Saturday (7/27). Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, thinks his club is not yet at a competitive level.

Real Madrid are unable to stem the power of Atletico Madrid. In fact, Zinedine Zidane’s squad was left behind 6-0.

Madrid tried to respond through Nacho, Karim Benzema and Javier Hernandez Carrera. However, everything was too late because Atletico just packed one more goal through Vitolo.

“We are currently not feeling good. This is just the beginning. We are preparing for the match to reach the highest level,” said Goos as reported by Goal.

“There are still many ways after this defeat. However, we cannot play as shown today,” he continued.

“We played like in a friendly match. It was a long-distance and we were frustrated. This was a disappointing result and we tried to reach the level we should have.”

“This is a different football. We play like a friendly match and they do it as if it were the final. We have to bring that intensity to each match. They get better than us in terms of intensity, the second ball, pressing, and they sharp in front of goal today.”

The match was also colored by one red card for each team. Diego Costa and Dani Carvajal were sent off in the 65th minute for fighting.
