DBasia.news – Manchester United haven’t returned to the victory track against Southampton at St Mary Stadium, Southampton home on the 14th-week of Premier League, Sunday (2/12).
Man United who are statistically dominant got left two goals by Stuart Armstrong at 13′ and Cedric Soares 7 minutes later. Luckily, Romelu Lukaku and Ander Herrera equalized the score 2-2 and secured one point.
Despite the draw result, the team manager Jose Mourinho isn’t satisfied with the squad performance. Moreover, the Portuguese man assumed that the players played unpassionately for 90 minutes.
“It doesn’t matter about the system. It has to do with the characteristics of the players and we don’t have many,” Mourinho said reported by Guardian.
“With all the respect, mad dogs – the ones who bite the ball all the time and press all the time,” he added.
The draw result against The Saints makes The Red Devils failed to improve their position on the table. They are in the 7th position with 22 points. Seems like it’s not enough ahead of the crucial match against their rival, Arsenal, on Thursday (6/12).
