DBasia.news – Manchester United try to utilize Inter Milan’s interest in Matteo Darmian. Italy transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio said The Red Devils set the high price.
Inter Milan keep on strengthening the team by fixing the defensive line. La Beneamata could secure Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin for free. The Uruguay national team player would come in summer 2019.
Besides that, Inter Milan are also planning to sign the wing-defender after Dalbert Enrique hasn’t performed his best so far. Nerazzurri’s choice comes to Matteo Darmian.
Manchester United open to the option. But, The Red Devils set 6 million euro as the loan-fee and another 6 million euro for the permanent signing. Besides that, Man United want Inter Milan to pay all of his salaries.
The list of requirements from Manchester United placed Inter Milan in a complicated situation. Nerazzurri thinks that’s too high for the player who isn’t in his best performance. Moreover, the former Torino player often gets injured. Meanwhile, Man United won’t lessen the price because they spent £18M when signing Darmian.
Previously, Matteo Darmian was negotiating with Juventus. But, La Vecchia Signora canceled their plan due to the transfer fee.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan are preparing the successor if Roberto Gagliardini decided to change the club during the winter transfer market. Gianluca Di Marzio said Inter think Leicester City midfielder Adrien Silva as the right person to replace Gagliardini.
Matteo Darmian to Inter Milan’s Possibility: 40%
It would be difficult for Inter Milan if Manchester United won’t reduce the transfer fee. Besides that, Inter would make a move if Joao Miranda leaves the squad.
