Starting from the Krasnodar match against Chelsea at the Krasnodar Stadium. Frank Lampard rotated the squad by playing Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and Callum Hudson-Odoi up front. The results were positive too.

With 71 percent possession of the ball and 16 attempted kicks and seven on target Chelsea won 4-0. The Blues’ four goalscorers were Callum Hudson-Odoi (37′), Timo Werner (76′ penalty), Hakim Ziyech (79′) and Christian Pulisic (90′).

It is the third clean sheet in a row that Chelsea have won in three matches in all competitions against Sevilla (0-0), Manchester United (0-0) and Krasnodar. Chelsea’s defense is getting better with the presence of Edouard Mendy in goal.

Chelsea currently lead the standings with four points followed by Sevilla (four points), and Krasnodar and Stade Rennes who both won one point.

Turning to Old Trafford, Manchester United against RB Leipzig who became semifinalists last season under the direction of Julian Nagelsmann. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer played Donny van de Beek, Fred, Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic in 4-3-1-2 tactics.

The result is good. The Red Devils lose possession by 47 percent but are efficient at converting seven shots on target to five goals. Marcus Rashford scored a goal hat-trick (74′, 78′, 90 + 2′), which was followed by Mason Greenwood (21′) and Anthony Martial (87′ penalty).

It will be Solskjaer’s 50th win as coach in UEFA competition (including qualifying matches), with 11 wins in 18 games for Man United (61 percent win rate). Rashford also made Solskjaer’s record as the second player to score a hat-trick on the bench.
