Manchester United Creates Problems with the Way They Pay Players

DBasia.news –  Bryan Robson, Manchester United legend, discusses the poor way his former club handles the player’s salary.

An example of that could be seen when United paid Alexis Sanchez a high salary (400,000 pounds per week), even though he had just arrived from Arsenal in January 2018. His salary was not worth the contribution when competing.

Judging by Sanchez’s high salary, senior players or those who have long been at United automatically wanted an increase in salary. Robson exemplified the adverse effects of salary arrangements by United’s management by including Marcus Rashford.

“Everyone knows the salary scale that is currently demanded by top players. And, related to that, United have created their own problems in terms of the money they pay now,” Robson said, quoted by Sky Sports.

“They have done their best for the player and made it possible for the club to convince new recruits. You have to salute that ambition, but that means top players – and that is (Marcus) Rashford – willing to try to get as much money as possible as part of the structure.”

“In the end he must be considered and at the same time, they cannot seem to take the opportunity to lose – not that I believe he really wants to leave. They have to complete an agreement to keep him – as long as it is not (nominal) foolish money,” Robson said .

Not only Rashford, David De Gea, Man United goalkeeper, who in the last few seasons have been the best player the club also wants the same thing. All this happened because of the club blunder in giving basic salary to Sanchez.
