DBasia.news –  Europa League 2019/20 held the first leg of the top 16 round, Friday (3/13) AM. The result, Manchester United managed to reap a big win against LASK Linz with a score of 5-0.

Manchester United won five goals without reply when they visited LASK headquarters, at Linzer Stadium, Austria. The five goals were created by different players.

The Red Devils opened the scoring in the 28th minute. Odion Ighalo’s hard kick was unable to be contained by the home goalkeeper.

In the second half or precisely the 58th minute, Manchester United doubled the advantage to 2-0. Receiving a feedback from Ighalo, Daniel James, who relied on his speed recorded his name on the scoreboard.

Manchester United had the upper hand after Juan Mata calmly completed Fred’s breakthrough pass into the goal in the 82nd minute.

Winning three goals does not make Manchester United relax on their attack. Nearing the end of the match, the Red Devils scored two goals through Mason Greenwood (91 ‘) and Andreas Pereira (90 + 2’). Man United ended the match with an absolute 5-0 advantage.

Unfortunately, not all 16 Europa League matches can be held on schedule. The match against Sevilla vs AS Roma and Inter Milan vs Getafe was forced to be postponed due to the corona virus case. The UEFA will also delay the Europa League as a whole because of the same problem.
