Manchester United Extends Ashley Young’s Contract for Another Year

DBasia.news – Manchester United again successfully tied one of the mainstay players in the current squad. This time it’s Ashley Young’s turn to be tied to a contract for another year, which ensures he lasts until the end of the 2019/20 season.
As reported by the official website of Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskajer’s team has made a decision to offer a contract extension that was received by Ashley Young, and prevent the 33-year-old player from leaving for free in the 2019 summer transfer market.
Since joining from Aston Villa in 2011, the England-based player has been involved in the success of his team winning five titles, namely the Premier League in the 2012/13 season, Europa League and League Cup in the 2016/17 season, the FA Cup in the 2015/16 season. and Community Shield in the 2011/12 season.
Young got a new contract thanks to his ability to play in four positions, namely as right and left defenders, as well as right and left wing attackers. The contract extension received by Young made him follow in the footsteps of several players such as Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, and Phil Jones.
