Manchester United is considered to need a defender more than an attacker

DBasia.news – Manchester United legend, Dimitar Berbatov thinks Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad needs defenders more than attackers.

After bringing in Ajax Amsterdam midfielder, Donny van de Beek, MU continues to maneuver at Mercato at this time. Most recently, the Red Devils are reportedly looking for a striker who is hungry for goals.

“For MU I think they only need two, center-back and right-back,” said Berbatov to MEN quoted by Manchester Evening, Thursday (10/9).

The Bulgarian said that the rear sector should be of particular concern to coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in running the Premiere League 2020-2021 season. He also believes that Man United already has a great striker even though most of them are occupied by young strikers.

“You have enough attacking power. Some people can argue that they need a striker who is more experienced around the young attackers at this time, which is actually a good point. However, who would it be?,” he continued.

The owner of 108 caps and 48 goals for MU admited he was very impressed by the trident of the MU attacker. Rashford, Martial, and Greenwood performed well even though the fans had to be patient to watch them develop.

Meanwhile, the figure of the attacker who is widely rumored to have joined the Old Trafford Stadium is Jadon Sancho. The Borussia Dortmund winger has been reported to be the main target for spending this season for the Red Devils.
