Manchester United Needs more Transfer Exchanges to Fix the Squad

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  According to Mark Robins, the former Manchester United player, the club needs a lot of transfer exchanges to fix the latest squad.

Mark Robins, who strengthened Manchester United from 1988 to 1992, believes that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s needs 10 transfer windows to make the Red Devils squad competitive again. Until now Solskjaer himself has passed through two transfer windows.

In the first transfer window, Solskjaer did not add any additions. But in the second window, Solksjaer brought in Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James.

Despite bringing in three players who are fairly expensive, United’s strength is considered to not be as tough as last season. This is because on the same occasion United also released players with key status like Romelu Lukaku.

“I hope Ole gets time so he can build a team. As he won’t be able to do it only through one transfer window. He needs six, seven, eight, ten windows,” Robins was quoted as saying by SPORT.

“It’s just that generally you won’t have time like that. I think that’s a very hard task. Remember, Sir Alex Ferguson needs years to win his first trophy.”

“But that would be challenging to follow because of the pressure of modern football,” Robins stated.

Until now it is still interesting to wait on how much time is given to Solskjaer. The latest news stated that the club is willing to pour in funds in the transfer market to bring in some players.

However, all could change if United’s condition in the next few matches deteriorates. Especially in the next fight, as they will serve the leaders of the standings, Liverpool.
