DBasia.news –  Manchester United players showed different attitudes under the care of Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. According to Benni McCarthy, a former FC Porto player, the Man United players were reluctant to play under Mourinho.

Manchester United ended the collaboration with Jose Mourinho after a series of negative results. The Red Devils at that time failed to compete at the top of the standings.

Benni McCarthy considers what Jose Mourinho experienced is inseparable from the attitude of the Manchester United players. Even so, he considered Mourinho’s report card while handling the Red Devils not entirely red.

“Manchester United is a difficult job for him. Besides, the players are not helpful when the situation came,” McCarthy said as proclaimed by talkSPORT.

“You are looking at the current Manchester United side, and Man United’s side under Jose Mourinho, like chalk and cheese. It’s like two completely different sides,” he said.

“Appreciation to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer because he came and changed things and got love from players. Because they have extraordinary players and under Mourinho, it didn’t work.”

Benni McCarthy is optimistic   Jose Mourinho will return to training soon. Moreover, the man from Portugal was reportedly the target of Real Madrid and Inter Milan.

“However, he will rise again. He is one of the strongest characters, even with his personality in football. What happened at Man United will slightly tarnish his record. So, I think he will fix it,” McCarthy explained.

“He will return. You will not be the worst coach or the most classy coach in the world overnight.”
