Manchester United Reluctant to Release, Real Madrid Aborted Bringing In Pogba
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Real Madrid reportedly surrendered to bring in Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in the transfer market next season.
Reporting from Marca, Pogba is now not included in the list of Madrid targets in the transfer market next summer. Madrid has been trying to bring Pogba since the summer of last year. This is a direct request from the manager, Zinedine Zidane.
But Manchester United are reluctant to let it go. Though Pogba himself has expressed his desire to leave.
Madrid will initially try to buy Pogba again in the transfer market next summer. But the corona virus pandemic has weakened their financial strength.
Instead, Madrid will try to bring young Rennes midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga. The price of the 17-year-old player is certainly more affordable than Pogba.
Manchester United will reportedly not release Pogba below the price of 100 million euros. The French midfielder’s contract will expire next year.
The news of Madrid’s cancellation of bringing Pogba is certainly a good news for Juventus. The Bianconeri are indeed trying to bring back their former player.
Juventus now only have to compete with Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to bring in Pogba. The last name must be watched out because it has unlimited financial strength.
But news of Madrid’s setback from competition could be just a strategy. They might hope that Pogba presses Manchester United to reduce his price to be cheaper.
