Manchester United Targets Harry Kane
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester United is rumored to have ambitious plans by targeting Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane.
Kane has indeed been on MU’s radar in the last few seasons. Woodward is said to have set Levy’s schedule for the 26-year-old striker’s tranfer.
Quoted from the Evening Standard, Levy will most likely reject MU’s offer. The coach, Mourinho has also reportedly asked the club not to sell the player next season.
MU management is said to have been unwilling to negotiate with Levy while still being trained by Sir Alex Ferguson and held by David Gill. Both of them withdrew when they wanted to bring in Luka Modric from Tottenham because of the difficulty in facing Levy.
Tottenham instead chose to release Modric to Real Madrid in 2012. Woodward is said to have been ready to negotiate with Levy to bring in Kane.
Woodward is said to want to make amends in the January 2020 transfer market. As is known they failed to bring in Erling Haaland who is a Dortmund player.
Cane still has a contract with Tottenham until 2024. The former Leicester City player is still temporarily sidelined due to his injury and is still recovering.
