Manchester United Wasted a lot of Opportunities against AZ Alkmaar

By db-admin –  In Matchday 2 of Europa League 2019-20, Manchester United got a point from the 0-0 draw against AZ Alkmaar at Cars Jeans Stadium on Thursday (3/10) local time.

 Despite appearing at the opponent’s headquarters, Manchester United is not afraid.  Fred has fired the ball into the home team’s goal when the game runs seven minutes.

 Unfortunately after that the plot of the match became the property of AZ Alkmaar.  Manchester United is under pressure from the onslaught of the stadium’s owner.

 Ahead of the break, AZ Alkmaar almost scored with the ball kicked by Yukinari Sugawara.  Luckily for Manchester United, they were still able to finish the first round without conceding.

 In the second half, Manchester United’s performance improved a bit.  Unfortunately it still could not break into the defense of AZ Alkmaar despite starting to attack.

 Manchester United wasted too many chances throughout the match.  For example, the ball kicked by Jesse Lingard who widened to the left side of the goal or Marcus Rashford.

 Overall, Manchester United recorded six kicks against AZ Alkmaar.  Of these, none of them lead to goal.

 The score 0-0 lasted until the match was over.  Manchester United and AZ Alkmaar have to settle for sharing points in the 2019-2020 Europa League continued match.
