Manchester United will Complete the Transfer of Bruno Fernandes

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Manchester United will reportedly soon bring in Bruno Fernandes, who is an awaited coveted player. Previously, the transfer process for the Sporting Lisbon midfielder did not come to an agreement between the clubs.

According to news from the Guardian, Manchester United are getting closer to reaching an agreement with Sporting Lisbon by submitting an official offer of 55 million euros plus another 25 million euros variation (bonus). Bruno Fernandes will allegedly sign a four-and-a-half-year contract with the option to renew one season.

The tug of war of the Portugese player’s transfer has indeed happened throughout this winter from last summer. Man United insisted they would not meet Sporting’s demand of 85 million euros and that was the right way to do as United took advantage of Fernandes’ passion.

It’s no secret that the 25-year-old wants to play in the Premier League and move in this January. Plus the fact that Man United needed a new midfielder after Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba were injured, plus after Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini left, Fernandes’ transfer was like an oasis in the middle of the desert.

Of the 25 million euro bonuses the details are an additional 15 million euros related to domestic performances and the Champions League (if able to bring the team to qualify for playing in the Champions League next season), while another 10 million euros bonus if Fernandes reaches some performance requirements.

“Manchester United has sent an official offer for Bruno Fernandes to Sporting! Conversations are now taking place between the two clubs. His agent is now ‘having faith’,” said Fabrizio Romano, an Italian transfer expert at @FririzioRomano.

“Bruno Fernandes is waiting and is busy in Lisbon … and he will be ready to leave for Manchester United with his agent if an agreement is reached in the following hours. The conversations will go on.”

This season, Bruno Fernandes has scored 14 goals in 28 matches for the club and also the international level (with the Portugal national team). Starting his career at the Novara academy at the age of 17, Bruno Fernandes gained insight into the culture of Italian football with Novara (2012-13), Udinese (2013-2016), and Sampdoria (2016-17). Bruno Fernandes’ advantage is his ability to score goals from the second line and has a good vision. It is hoped that he can become a creative player as expected by Manchester United.
