DBasia.news –  Juventus’ ambition to win the Champions League title is no longer a secret. According to Inter Milan legend Marco Materazzi, the Bianconeri will be called a failure if they fail to win the Champions League title.

Juventus have fasted for two decades in the Champions League trophy. The last time La Vecchia Signora won the title was the 1995-1996 season.

Since then, Juventus’ efforts have always stuck to the top of the party. I Bianconeri only became runner-up on five occasions, namely 1996-1997, 1997-1998, 2002-2003, 2014-2015, and 2016-2017.

These conditions make Juventus considered ambitious to win the Champions League. That desire made them spend a lot of money to bring Cristiano Ronaldo.

Marco Materazzi considers Juventus to have the chance to win the Champions League. However, Materazzi was reluctant to support the Bianconeri because of his rivalry with Inter Milan.

“Juventus have a team to win the Champions League. In the summer, they bring great players in the Champions League that are hard to compare,” Marco Materazzi told Eurosport.

“Cristiano Ronaldo can help them win the Champions League. The problem is, will Juventus win the trophy? If not, they fail.”

“As a supporter of Inter Milan, I cannot support Juventus. As an Italian, I am happy if they win the Champions League, but I do not support them.”

Marco Materazzi himself won the Champions League. Materazzi did it together with Inter Milan when embracing the treble winners in the 2009-2010 season.
