DBasia.news – The lack of playing minutes he got with Manchester United this season, made Marcos Rojo’s name crossed from the list of Argentine national team players.
This season, Marcos Rojo only played in six competitive matches with Manchester United in all competitions. That happened because the 29-year-old often suffered injuries.
“Right now, I just want to be free of injury problems and not think too much about problems with the Argentine national team,” Marcos Rojo said.
“I will try my best in Manchester to be able to return to the Argentina national team. I certainly hope that I can still play soccer on an international level someday,” he added.
Although not too often get the chance to play at Manchester United, Marcos Rojo claimed to still feel comfortable with the Red Devils. He also does not have the intention to leave Old Trafford in the transfer market next summer.
“The first year in Manchester was very heavy. Because, I previously played in Portugal whose conditions were not too different from Argentina. But, now I’ve been here for five years and feel very comfortable. But, I want to go back to playing for Estudiantes before hanging up my shoes,” Rojo said.
