DBasia.news – German midfielder Mario Gotze confirms leaving Borussia Dortmund.
The name Mario Goetze before was widely reported to be leaving. The duration of the contract that will expire in June was the main reason. Moreover, Borussia Dortmund have no plans to extend the player’s service period.
Nevertheless, the former Bayern Munich player does not yet know which club to go to next season. To be sure he did not close the opportunity to play outside the German League.
“Today I would like to announce that after much consideration I have decided to make a change in my career planning. I consciously used my time to take this step,” Goetze said as reported by the Daily Mail, Friday (10/4/2020).
“This is an important decision for my future and I look forward to working with Reza Fazeli and his agency,” he added.
Until now, the former German national team player has not wanted to think about which club to go to. For him, the most important thing now is to unite against the corona virus which has stopped world soccer competition.
“What will bring the future of sport can only be clear when the world has recovered. Until now I did not want to talk further. I can only hope that everyone can take care of their health and we must all support the community and help them,” concluded Mario Goetze.
