Marouane Fellaini: Manchester United is Wrong to Fire Jose Mourinho

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Marouane Fellaini considers his former club, Manchester United, to be wrong for firing Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United sacked Jose Mourinho in December 2018. The decision was taken after the Red Devils lost to Liverpool moments earlier.

After that, Jose Mourinho was replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Initially, Solskjaer only had the status of an interim before finally being appointed as permanent manager.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is Manchester United’s fourth manager after Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013. Previously there were names of David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, and Jose Mourinho.

These conditions make Marouane Fellaini criticized Manchester United. The Belgian man thinks Jose Mourinho needs time to succeed at Old Trafford.

“Manchester United brought in David Moyes but didn’t give him time. After that Louis van Gaal came, when he started winning, the club fired him because he wanted to win quickly,” said Marouane Fellaini.

“In my opinion, Manchester United fired Jose Mourinho too quickly. That is because the manager seems to need the player to understand his philosophy. He wants to build a team.”

“Unfortunately Manchester United fired Jose Mourinho because the results were not appropriate. They will not be able to build a team that fast, you need more than two years,” he added.

During dealing with Manchester United, Jose Mourinho gave the English League Cup and Europa League titles. Besides, the Red Devils were ranked second in the Premier League.
