Marquinhos
DBasia.news – Paris Saint-Germain defender (PSG), Marquinhos, was the key to his team’s victory over Manchester United. The Brazilian player managed to carry out his duties to guard Paul Pogba well.
“The coach gave a huge boost of confidence. He saw a lot of things in me,” Marquinhos said.
“Today I am not afraid to try many things. That’s the important work we did today. We know Man United’s midfield is very strong, especially Pogba. I am happy with what we did,” said Marquinhos.
In this match, Coach Thomas Tuchel shifted Marquinhos as a defensive midfielder. He was tasked with turning off Pogba, as well as breaking the host attacks.
With this victory, PSG have put one foot in the quarter-finals. The draw in the second leg is enough to bring Mbappe and friends to the last eight.
