DBasia.news – One of Italy’s top coaches, Massimiliano Allegri, has a unique theory about football which he considers a ‘stupid’ sport. Allegri believes that football seems simple but in reality it is not.
Massimiliano Allegri continues to lead Juventus to the Serie A title. The record puts Allegri to be one of the best coaches in Italy.
Even so, Allegri thinks it’s not easy to understand football. The former AC Milan tactician said that football is a stupid sport.
“I don’t really like the system of all the tactics people talk about whether it’s 3-5-2 or 4-3-3,” Allegri said when discussing football on the Rai program, Che Tempo Che Fa.
“I have learned that football is a stupid sport for intelligent people because simple things really are the most difficult to repair.”
“For example, you can say players make simple side passes, but not simple and that is football. The lower you drop about the level, the more players think they need to master the ball to prove their talent,” Allegri said.
Lately, Allegri has often received criticism from Italian football observers. This was not separated from the failure of Juventus to win the Champions League title.
“I accept constructive criticism because it’s part of the game, but after two or three times I think you don’t understand what is being said. However, it’s still an opinion.”
Juventus played 1-1 against Inter Milan in the Serie A advanced match 2018-2019, at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Saturday (27/4). La Vecchia Signora’s goal was printed by the superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.
