Meet Dortmund, Inter Milan Must Show Fangs
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Inter Milan will host Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park in the Champions League continued on Wednesday (11/06/2019). Antonio Conte’s foster children must win the game if they want to secure second place.
Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund currently have the same points, which are four. I Nerazzurri benefit head to head by finishing second in Group F.
But that hasn’t made Antonio Conte satisfied. He wants his team to beat Dortmund. For that, the coach hopes that Romelu Lukaku and friends can play with real characters.
“This match is very important. We have the same number of points as them. While I think Barcelona is already in the next round. Dortmund is a strong team and proven to be very experienced in the Champions League,” Conte said as reported by Italian Football on Monday (11/04/2019).
“The atmosphere in the stadium will be waiting for us, so we need a real character to finish the match like before. Games like this are very important for team development,” he said again.
Furthermore, the former Juventus coach insists La Beneamata will not play defending at Signal Iduna Park. But he also wants his team to adjust to the Dortmund game later.
“We will survive if they put us in our section of the field, but we always come to the field to play and score goals. It doesn’t matter if we play at home or away,” Conte concluded.
