Messi et al Assessed Not Worth Defending Argentina

DBasia.news – Argentine legend Diego Maradona made a strong criticism after the Argentine national team lost 1-3 to Venezuela.
The defeat colored Lionel Messi’s comeback after several months of rest after the 2018 World Cup. Worse yet, La Pulga was injured and missed the next game against Morocco.
Maradona considered the current squad not worthy of wearing an Argentine jersey. That means including Messi.
“No, I did not watch the Argentine match, I did not watch horror films. People who have no capacity, who regulate the national team, do they think they can beat Venezuela? They are a good team,” said Maradona.
“Argentina entered through the window, not even through the door because they betrayed and lied to the public all the time. I am sorry, but they did not win the match.”
“I am very Argentine, but I feel with other coaches and players like (Oscar) Ruggeri, (Sergio) Batista, (Ricardo) Guilty, (Nery) Pumpido, (Claudio) Caniggia then the situation will be different.”
“This team is not worthy of wearing a jersey (Argentina). They know nothing and I am sorry for the Argentine people who continue to trust these liars, and also the players involved in it,” said Maradona.
