Messi Hasn’t Thinking About Champions League Knockout Round Contender

DBasia.news –  Barcelona striker Lionel Messi admits that he is delighted with the team’s success in Group B Champions League. However, he won’t talk about Azulgrana contender in the knockout phase.

“We have achieved our objective of finishing top of a difficult group. We are really happy, it has been a tight group with tough away trips. With regards to the last 16, we are always prepared but to talk about it now is difficult, we have to think about what is ahead calmly,” Messi said.

“In the first half we lost the ball and we gave them chances from set pieces where they were strong. The most important thing was to win and finish first and we have done that with a game to spare so job done,” Messi added.
