Milan Would Release Gonzalo Higuain If They Sign Piatek

DBasia.news – Gonzalo Higuain is the center during this winter transfer market. Four clubs are involved in his transfer, Genoa, AC Milan, Juventus, and Chelsea. Higuain couldn’t just leave to Chelsea.

Higuain is the main priority of Chelsea because the club manager Maurizio Sarri isn’t satisfied with Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata. He chooses Higuain because they collaborated back in Napoli.

However, Higuain still has the contract with Juventus and currently is in his loan-period in AC Milan. Rossoneri would release El Pipita to Chelsea if they find the successor.

Milan have appointed Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek as Higuain’s successor. But, the negotiation continues between Genoa and Milan because Genoa set 35 million euro transfer fee and the additional bonus for the 13 goal creator in Serie A. Also, Alen Halilovic as the bonus player from Milan.

No wonder, Milan try to defend Higuain’s exit at least until next Tuesday. Meanwhile, Juve and Chelsea have reached the deal about the transfer fee, which also involved a specific clause due to the ongoing contract in Milan.

Milan under Gennaro Gattuso lend Higuain from Juve this season worth 18 million euro plus the permanent option 36 million euro. His contract is available until this season. The contract change would be released if he moves to Chelsea.

Marca reported Chelsea would pay all the remaining 9 million euro for six months loan period and might be signed in the same fee, 36 million euro.

However, Football-Italia source said the permanent option would be applied in Chelsea, under three conditions.

First, Chelsea could sign Higuain if they end the season as the top-three of Premier League and score at least one goal. Second, the Argentinian striker must at least scores 15 goals in the Premier League.

Last, Chelsea must win the Europa League and Higuain scores five competitive goals. It’s interesting to see the ending of Higuain’s transfer.
