Millions of Ringgit of Debts

By news-admin

DBasia.news – Kelantan Football Confederation (KAFA) is still struggling with old debt burdens that could cause the Kelantan team to fall into the FAM League if it is not resolved this season.

KAFA president Bibi Ramjani Ilias Khan said the master body had three debt repayments claimed by the International Football Federation (FIFA) involving millions of ringgit.

Subsequently, the company is now focusing on completing debt repayment because if it is not resolved by the date set by the team it will face more severe penalties.

“If we stay in the Super League, if we do not pay FAM’s old debt, we will still be cut off or sent down to the subordinate league (FAM League).

“KAFA still has three ‘debt’ cases claimed by former players and coaching through FIFA to be resolved late last August.

“In terms of our rough eyes we will be dropped into the Premier League next season but if some things have not been resolved it is not impossible for the team to come down to FAM League,” he said when contacted, here today.

Kelantan has to settle the debt involving two former import players, Jonathan Lucca and Dramane Traore and former fitness trainer Sebastian Knapic.

Commenting on it, Bibi Ramjani is hoping that supporters will accept the fact of the team’s position and not to blame the governing body of the new management.
