DBasia.news – Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, was rumored requesting the club to sign the new players during the January transfer market. He wants The Red Devils to recruit the young central defender.
Reported by ESPN, there are two names become the target of the former boss of Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid. Mourinho wants Man United to recruit Inter player, Milan Skriniar, and AC Milan defender, Alessio Romagnoli. Both are still 23.
Mourinho’s position at Old Trafford is uncertain after the poor performance of Man United in the 2018-2019 Premier League. Moreover, there was a rumor that Mourinho would be sacked sooner if he fails to bring The Red Devils to gain the positive result last weekend.
Luckily, Man United could achieve three points dramatically. Got left behind 0-2 from Newcastle United in the duel at Old Trafford, the Premier League giant could revive and win 3-2.
Milan Skriniar
The result made Mourinho secured. He utilized the moment to request the club to add the squad so Man United could be better in the second half. He prioritized the central defender.
Last summer, the management refused to purchase Toby Alderweireld, Jerome Boateng, and Diego Godin due to the age concern.
Now, Mourinho sets the target on the younger players, Skriniar and Romagnoli.
But, Man United must prepare the huge budget because of the two players still in contract with the current club. Both Skriniar and Romagnoli are in contract until June 2022.
