DBasia.news – Manchester United achieved the victory against Newcastle in the Premier League match at Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho squad got left 0-2 in the first round but scored three goals in the remaining 20 minutes of the second half to secure their first victory in the five recent matches.
Some experts were observing the change of strategy and rotation by Mourinho. The coach who was born in Setubal called Eric Bailly not too long after the second goal of Newcastle in the first 15 minutes and entered Juan Mata.
Two midfielders, Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba, conducted their role as the defender in the second half when Mourinho sent Alexis Sanchez and Marouane Fellaini to the pitch, in order to raise the intensity.
Paul Pogba
“He didn’t play centre-back. He was playing with Matic in front of [Chris] Smalling because we need some technical quality to bring the ball from the back and the way to have some technical quality to bring the ball from the back was to play Paul and Matic there,” Mourinho said.
Asked what did he say in the first half to get such response, Mourinho answered diplomatically.
“I think you will know what I told. If you want to know, you will know. You know everything; what is true, what is not true. I’m pretty sure you will make some calls and you will know what I told at half-time.”
