Mourinho: I lost a mainstay player
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Jose Mourinho claimed to have lost his flagship player. Tottenham Hotspurs must lose Son Heung-Min due to a broken hand. The South Korean player is expected to be pulled over until the end of this season.
Mourinho said that Son Heung-min’s chance to return for the rest of the season was running low. Son’s absence, according to Mou will be greatly missed by the players and supporters of the Spurs.
“I will not rely on Son again this season. If he plays two or three games then it’s because the club is still optimistic that he can recover, but I won’t rely on him, “Mourinho said as quoted from Sky Sports, Wednesday (16/02).
Mourinho claimed he did not want to force Son in the Spurs’ match. As according to the Portuguese coach, it would worsen the condition of the South Korean player.
“The situation could be worse. That’s clear. There was nothing we could do. We will play with the players we have. “
However, the former Manchester United coach claimed he did not have any players in hand who could replace the role of Son. “I was worried because I didn’t have an option on the bench, now I don’t have an attack option on the field!” Mourinho complained.
Mourinho also claimed to be hoping on the existing players and the help of supporters to continue to support the Spurs journey for the rest of the season.
“Tottenham supporters, that is the only thing I ask because to the players I can not ask for more than they give,” concluded Mou.
