Mourinho’s Successors as Man United’s Manager
By news-admin
DBasia.news – The future of Jose Mourinho at Manchester United is questioned. Mourinho’s relationship with The Red Devils high-officials got a distance due to many reasons.
Before the 2018-2019 Premier League, Jose Mourinho complained a lot about Manchester United’s transfer activity. Mourinho felt unsatisfied with the club spending.
No wonder, Manchester United just recruited three players, Fred, Lee Grant, and Diogo Dalot. In fact, Jose Mourinho has submitted the target players since a long time ago.
Besides, the situation was worsened by the conflict in the locker room. Jose Mourinho had a clash with Manchester United key midfielder, Paul Pogba.
Recently, Manchester United surprisingly defeated by Brighton and Hove Albion in 2018-2019 Premier League’s second-week match. The Red Devils got 2-3 defeat.
Consequently, Jose Mourinho and Manchester United are on the edge. Whether the 55-year-old manager will resign, or The Red Devils fire him.
The condition raised the name of Jose Mourinho’s successors. Who will be the next manager? Here are three of them:
Antonio Conte
Back in the past, Antonio Conte was the target of Manchester United to replace Sir Alex Ferguson. However, Conte chose to stay in Manchester United.
The situation might change if Manchester United offer the same job right now. Apparently, Conte has no status after Chelsea fired him.
Since he was still a player, Conte was known as a winner. The Italian man also proved his ability to adapt well to English soccer culture.
Conte’s main problem is his high temperament. Manchester United might take the risk by replacing the similar temperamental Mourinho with Conte.
Zinedine Zidane
Both as the player or coach, Zinedine Zidane is the respected figure. Zidane won many achievements with Real Madrid since he started the managerial career.
Zidane’s arrival would be perfect for Manchester United who want to revive. Previously, Zidane helped Real Madrid from the downturn.
Manchester United high-officials were rumored contacting Zidane. They wanted to bring the former Juventus player to Old Trafford.
However, Zidane still has a problem. The managerial capability of the France man often questioned and just relied on one or two players.
Laurent Blanc
If they have to choose, Manchester United would prefer the former player who understands the history of the club. Between The Red Devils players, Laurent Blanc is the most successful figure right now.
Starting his career in Bordeaux, Blanc surprisingly could lead the club to be the 2008-2009 Ligue 1. After that, Blanc was appointed to handle the France national team before his peak of career with PSG.
Blanc’s career journey plus by the fact that he once played at Old Trafford made him as the candidate of Manchester United manager. If Mourinho leaves, Blanc could be the next leader of Paul Pogba and friends.
However, Blanc has no experience to handle the team outside of France. His managerial career involved Bordeaux, France national team, and PSG.
