MU Continue to Bring Back the Goalkeeping Coach in Sir Alex Furgeson’s Era

DBasia.news – Manchester United officially brought in Richard Hartis as a senior goalkeeping coach on the team. Hartis will work with another goalkeeping coach, Emilio Alvarez.
Hartis is not a stranger at Manchester United. He worked when the club was coached by Sir Alex Ferguson in the 2000-2010 period.
In that period, Hartis had never trained David de Gea, who had just arrived in 2011. However, Hartis had been the coach of Edwin van der Sar when Manchester United won the 2007-2008 Champions League trophy.
“I am happy with the opportunity to return to Manchester United. I have a good relationship with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and understand his philosophy,” Hartis said.
“David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Lee Grant, and Dean Henderson are good goalkeepers. I also look forward to working with Emilio Alvarez and all the other goalkeeping coaches,” he continued.
Hartis really knew Solskjaer. He once worked as a goalkeeping coach when Solskjaer handled Molde FK and Cardiff City.
