MU Once Refuse Milan’s Offer to Martial
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester United reported by RMC Sport once refused the offer from AC Milan to recruit Anthony Martial. In fact, the French player stated his interest to leave Old Trafford couple times.
Anthony Martial has determined to leave Man United. He can no longer stand sits on the bench.
Last season, Martial alternated with Marcus Rashford to fill one position in the front line. But the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in the midseason made the situation complicated for Martial.
Consequently, Martial had a clash with the manager Jose Mourinho. Moreover, The Special One gave the green light for Martial to change the club.
AC Milan saw Martial’s situation as a chance to recruit him. Martial considered having the great talent to be the next star player.
However, RMC said, Milan’s offer didn’t interest Man United. The Red Devils high official Ed Woodward refused the idea to sell Martial. Ed Woodward worried the decision will be a boomerang for Mourinho just like when they released Kevin De Bruyne.
Meanwhile, if truly happens, Martial will give a tight competition in the AC Milan wing sector. Currently, AC Milan have the main wingers, Suso and Diego Laxalt. Besides, Martial will also threaten Hakan Calhanoglu’s position.
Manchester United recruited Anthony Martial from AS Monaco with £54M in the 2015 summer transfer market. Currently, the 22-year-old player could be recruited freely because his contract will be over on June 2019.
