Napoli Are Eyeing Genoa’s Potential Striker

They have been supported by Edinson Cavani, Gonzalo Higuain, and now Arkadius Milik. But the latter is considered failed to continue the tradition.

Won’t be too long placing Dries Mertens and Lorenzo Insigne to be the striker, currently, Napoli are eyeing Genoa’s potential striker who is trending, Krzysztof Piatek.

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis admits that he has talked to Genoa President and Piatek’s agent, but he won’t reveal whether Napoli will really recruit the Polish player.

“I’ve talked to (Genoa President Enrico) Preziosi and his agent. We still need to meet but I’ll leave our coach (Carlo Ancelotti). I don’t need to run and I don’t want to get involved in an auction,” De Laurentiis said.

“Without taking anything away from Piatek we’ll need to see if he can do as well in our setup as he does at Genoa.”
