DBasia.news – Nemanja Matic admits Manchester United faced the difficulty after the match against Brighton & Hove Albion on the 23rd-week of Premier League, Saturday (19/1). Brighton created the heavy pressure before the match ended.
Apparently, after the two goals dominance, Man United got the attacks from Brighton and they created the goal. Luckily, there was no additional from Brighton hence the 2-1 score.
However, Matic admits that was a worrying situation. Apparently, the attacks threatened he and the teammates. But, Matic admits that their performance declined in the last minute.
“The last 10-15 minutes we dropped a little bit. They put some big guys up front and it was hard for us,” Matic said.
“I think that the manager is happy with the first 75 minutes. They tried to use set-pieces to play long balls,” he continued.
“But we managed to control it, in the end, to take three points which is very important for us,” he added.
The victory against Brighton also continues the positive trend under Ole Gunnar Soslkjaer. From seven matches, Paul Pogba and friends always achieved the perfect score.
