Nemanja Matic Unleashes his Thoughts on Rarely Playing at Manchester United
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester United midfielder, Nemanja Matic, does not mask his frustration on being rarely played by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Nemanja Matic didn’t receive many chances in the first five Premier League matches. So far, the 31-year-old player has only appeared in two matches with 89 minutes played.
Inevitably, the situation has made Nemanja Matic feel troubled. He wants to be re-elected as one of Manchester United’s main midfielders.
“Of course I am frustrated. I want to perform because I always provide the best for Manchester United,” Matic said as Sky Sports reported.
However, now Matic does not want to worry about the situation. According to him, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has full freedom to determine Manchester United’s main team.
“The manager has full control in determining the composition of the squad. When you are on the bench, you are clearly not happy. However, I try to believe Solskjaer will change his mind and choose me,” said the former Chelsea player.
“The season is still ahead. When against Leicester City, you can see me playing and Man United winning. I am thrilled. So, we will see what the manager decides in the future.”
“In the last 10 years I have performed at a high level and always try to give my best. I am ready to play,” added Matic.
Nemanja Matic’s future at Manchester United continues to be a speculation. As until now, the player has not extended his contract even though his service period will end in June 2020. Reportedly, Matic has entered the radar of a number of Italian clubs including Inter Milan.
