Not Yet Finished with Kai Havertz’s Transfer, Frank Lampard Wants to Bring in Other Players
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Chelsea manager Frank Lampard made the 2020 summer transfer window a place to increase the quality of his team. Lampard asked several new players to the management of the Blues to be brought to Stamford Bridge.
Frank Lampard is busy preparing for Chelsea players to face the FA Cup final match against Arsenal. However, behind the scenes, Chelsea’s management is busy fulfilling the manager’s request.
At present, Chelsea’s focus is to complete Kai Havertz’s transfer. Chelsea have pocketed the agreement of the player.
Furthermore, Chelsea tried to find a middle ground with Bayer Leverkusen. Reportedly, Chelsea are willing to buy Kai Havertz for 70 million euros, including bonuses.
Although currently the negotiation process is still ongoing, but Lampard handed over other tasks to management. Lampard wants Chelsea to have a new goalkeeper next season.
Lampard does not believe in the ability of the current goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga. Not surprisingly, in the last few matches, Kepa was replaced by Willy Caballero.
The player who became the target for the position of goalkeeper is Atletico Madrid penggawa, Jan Oblak. However, Chelsea need to redeem the goalkeeper with a release clause that reaches 110 million euros.
If they fail, the other choice is Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Chelsea want to take advantage of the 28-year-old goalkeeper’s contract that has two more seasons left.
Previously, Chelsea had brought Judges Ziyech and Timo Werner. Both are types of players that increase attack power.
