Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Discusses Manchester United’s Transfer
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, assesses that the Red Devils needed additional new attackers.
Manchester United reaped negative results after a series of victories. In the last match against Bournemouth, David de Gea and colleagues lost by a narrow 1-0 score.
The defeat has made Solskjaer increasingly convinced that Manchester United needed additional ammunition. For him, it is important to be able to have players who have high creativity.
“To win the match, you have to score goals. I am sure Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford will score. Martial will return sharply, but we need more creativity,” said Solskjaer as reported by the Mirror.
“However, we have many players in the team who can create more opportunities. It is not just looking outside, but we must maximize what we have,” continued the manager.
One of Manchester United’s biggest weaknesses this season is the difficulty to score. The Red Devils have scored 13 goals in 11 Premier League matches.
“You don’t have to be a scientist to know we are in need of an attacker to be brought to the next transfer window. We are looking for some creativity and goals, but the players who come must be right,” Solskjaer stated.
“There are attackers in the summer, but it’s not just us who want them. We can’t get what we want,” Solskjaer explained.
There are some names of attackers that have been linked to Manchester United. Two of them are Mario Mandzukic and Callum Wilson.
