DBasia.news –  Manchester United were ultimately only able to recruit three players in the 2019 summer transfer window. Nevertheless, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United’s manager, was satisfied with United’s transfer maneuver.

Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire became three of Man United’s recruits this summer. When other teams have made a final effort at the closing of the transfer window, United chose to end their transfer.

No doubt the hashtag #WoodwardOut has echoed on social media. Especially after United did not get a replacement for Romelu Lukaku who moved to Inter Milan. Nevertheless, Solskjaer has remained calm in response.

“I think when the transfer window came to a close, there was a great feeling of relief. Now, the transfer is closed, we know who we expect and I am happy with the three new recruits,” Solskjaer said as quoted by Goal.

Solskjaer also responded to fan complaints regarding Man United’s transfer. According to the Norwegian manager, the negative atmosphere outside was not created in the United players’ locker room.

“Well, that feeling (negative) is not in the club and the fans I have met are enthusiastic about the recruits we have. There will always be fans out there wanting to recruit players, this has become part of Man United,” Solskjaer added.

“The players are here now and have paid that trust. We trust them. Of course we want to get rid of it (the frustration of fans) and the only way to silence that doubt is by playing football well, showing our team what we want to be. “

“However, between the team and the club, we feel very confident and don’t feel the negativity that you are talking about,” Solskjaer stressed.
